EquiPilates™ - Group sessions

Taster Session - £15 per person

To see if EquiPilates Fundamentals 6 week Course is for you. Introduces Woody the wooden horse; Pilates Swiss balls; Antispasm Techniques; Pilates exercises specifically for the rider.
£15 per person, min 3 people per hour, max 8 people per hour.

ABC Workshop - £25 per person

Address neutral spine (Alignment); find centre of Balance; feel where Breathing is taking place, the impact this has; actively engage your Core How this applies to ridden work, and the impact this can have on performance.
£25 per person, min 2 people per hour, max 4 people per hour.

Fundamentals 6 week Course - £120 per person | Studio based (max 3 people)/ Classroom @stables (max 6 people)

Looks at posture in the saddle, alignment, breathing, and core awareness. Covers anti-spasm exercises to release tight muscles, applies EquiPilates techniques for balance, control, fear, holding your breath, posture adjustment, half-halt, and more. Photographic evidence of improvements and certificates are presented in the last week.
£120 per person.

Equine Sports Massage

Initial consultation £55 / subsequent sessions £45

All horses can benefit from massage regardless of discipline. Equine sports massage has a positive effect for wellbeing and can:

  • Enhance performance.
  • Improve suppleness.
  • Aid recovery after injury.
  • Improve and increase circulation.
  • Enhance muscle tone.
  • Relax muscle spasm.
  • Release tension.
  • Prevent and relieve adhesions (scar tissue).
  • Increase the range of movement.
  • Reduce stress.

Regular massage sessions train the horses muscles to recover.

BIOMECHANICS

Biomechanical Screening

  • Intrinsic Biomechanics Screening: full body assessment.
  • Prescriptive Pilates exercises given to address areas requiring better range of movement.
Initial assessment: £45
Subsequent follow-on sessions: £30

BIOMECHANICS & EQUIPILATES – One to One sessions: Biomechanics, Wooden horse, EquiPilates Prescriptive exercises

  • Intrinsic Biomechanics Screening: full body assessment.
  • Prescriptive anti-spasm exercises given to release areas of tension and Pilates exercises given to address areas requiring better range of movement.
  • Postural Assessment Mounted on Woody, the wooden horse, with own saddle: a close look at how areas of tension affect ridden seat, and position in saddle.
Initial assessment: £65
Subsequent follow-on sessions: £40

Biomechanics Mounted Session: £38 or £48 (where your horse is stabled)

  • Focussing on the areas you wish to improve in training applying Biomechanics and EquiPilates techniques to facilitate way of going; horse’s movement.
  • Address posture; alignment, breathing and core awareness; affecting balance and ease of movement in the saddle.

Mounted Clinics @ Equestrian Centre

Any rider can benefit from attending the clinics. 40min sessions £50 per person.

Clinics will focus on different aspects, to draw on strengths and overcome weaknesses

Mounted Clinics @ your yard (minimum 4 participants)

Any rider can benefit from attending the clinic. 40min sessions £40 per person
